Filter tips are small, cylindrical inserts used for joints a cigarettes. Our glass tips are specially designed to avoid getting too wet, falling apart, or sucking up any leaf, making your smoking experience a pleasant one.

Our tips are produced using alkaline earth-free borosilicate glass (borosilicate glass 3.3). This glass is characterised by excellent chemical and physical properties. It is used for designs requiring not only very good chemical and high temperature resistance, but also thermal shock resistance and high mechanical strength.

Every joint needs a filter, but not all filters are made equal. The quality of the filter strongly contributes to the quality of the joint. A joint using a paper filter may become flimsy and lack airflow. A joint rolled using the praia.calma will be structurally sound, providing great airflow.

You can use the tip by placing it along the edge of your rolling paper with the mouthpiece on the outside. Then you place your herb of choice inside the paper and roll it as you normally would, making sure to keep the edge of the filter aligned with the the paper.

As long as you choose! If you maintain your tip, don’t break it, and clean it after every use, you can live a happy life together. 

After every use, simply place it under running water. If that isn’t enough, you can use our pipe cleaners for better results.
